Livistona Rotundifolia, commonly known as the Table Palm or or Fan Palm, is a popular choice of a houseplant widely revered for its tropical looks, ease of care and adaptability to indoor conditions. Its air-purifying green leaves shoot out of the stems in a fan-like round spread, and will bring improved air quality into your home by filtering large amounts of formaldehyde and other common pollutants. In summer, large panicles of creamy white flowers will appear. The blossoms are followed by round, vivid red berries that ripen to black. Your Table palm will thrive in a position that benefits from indirect sun or partial shade. Keep the soil moist at all times, and allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly in between waterings. Make sure to discard any excess water from the plant saucer and don't allow the plant to become waterlogged. Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth. Characteristics: Low maintenance, evergreen indoor plant with a palm-like appearance. Rounded, green foliage forms a fan shape on top of upright stalks. Supplied in a 15cm pot, measuring 25-35cm including the pot. Growth and Spread: Ultimate height of 2m, maximum spread of 1.5m. Care and Maintenance: Your Fan Palm will thrive in full sun or partial shade, in moist but well-drained soil composed of Loam or Sand. Period of Interest: Flowers in summer, followed by small round fruit in autumn.
